The 56th Mikio Oda Memorial International Amateur Athletic Game was hosted at Edion Stadium Hiroshima on Friday, April 29, 2022.
At the competition venue, there were two minor events for elementary school children: the Daiso Uki-uki Track and Field Training Program by the Daiso Female Ekiden Team and the Seiko Waku-waku Track and Field Training Program where Takashi Enami from Hiroshima Salire, a wheelchair softball team, participated.

This report is about the events in which the Daiso Female Ekiden Team and Takashi Enami participated.
Because of the bad weather, the program had to be changed and was held indoors instead.

Amateur Athletic Game

This athletic game was established to commemorate the accomplishments of Mikio Oda, a native of Hiroshima and the first Japanese Olympic gold medalist, and takes place in Hiroshima every spring.
