The Origin of Daiso Industries

“I want to sell quality goods that please customers.” “I want to create (So) a big (Dai) company with annual sales of 100 million yen.” This was stated by Hirotake Yano, the founder of Daiso, in the early stages of the company. After a half century, let us look at the history and DNA of Daiso.

Establishment of the Fukuyama warehouse in Hiroshima, which has a floor area of approximately 3,300 m2, to triple the capacity and introduced the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Achieved the milestone of 1,000 shops in Japan (directly managed shops and agencies)

The monthly shop opening schedule was filled with new store openings.
